” Northfresh Sushi, Est. Oct. 2017, Jeff Berneski, CEO. For the past six years, I have been working for the company, Momiji, gaining three years of sushi experience. I was inspired to develop my own brand of cutting edge sushi and start my own restaurant concept. I developed Northfresh Sushi. I currently have Pop-up events inside a coffee house two days a week. This location sits on the creek, in the heart of downtown Silverton. We primarily focus on in-home/private events. Northfresh uses Oregon as its advertising canvas. For example, I have made sushi at Abiqua falls, feeding unexpected hikers who have stumbled upon myself making fresh sushi in the heart of the Oregon forest. I continue to be inspired by the beauty of the Pacific Northwest (PNW), and am still finding more inspiration as I continue developing this journey of what Northfresh is. I want Northfresh to be associated with fresh quality fish and sushi; Japan meets the PNW, a modern day twist to sushi. I want to educate and teach my guests the art behind sushi, and why things are performed, and done a certain way.”-Jeff Berneski
