Are you ready for Father’s Day this weekend? It’s a great time to celebrate the fathers and father-figures in your life. A father can play a special role in one’s family. Maybe your dad has sang Kelly Clarkson at the top of his lungs with you in the morning because he knows it’s your favorite. Perhaps he’s made sure to block out some time in the week to go fishing or play tic-tack-toe. Or, made a flapjack (or waffle) in the shape of a heart…with some chocolate chips. Dads add another flavor to the mix in a family that just can’t go without notice. We thank all the fathers out there for the care and support they have given. There is also the great Strawberry Festival in Silverton. We recently gave away some tickets to the Silverton Daddy Daughter Dance. That was a fun and adorable evening. There are just so many things to do in the Willamette Valley, it’s just hard to choose from. And, that’s just one of the reasons why we love the work we do.
