Summertime Activities

It’s the first day of summer! How have you been spending your time so far? There are so many things to do in the Willamette Valley and beyond. It’s hard to choose, especially when summer rolls around. Whether you’re going to a favorite swimming hole or stopping by a delectable ice cream shop, you’ve got some great options. At BST Realty LLC, we love not only doing great work for our clients, but having fun, too! And, obviously, we like to try and combine the two as much as possible. Life is a journey after all, right? So, of course, we’d like to share with you some fun activities that may interest you this summer!

When it comes to swimming holes, there are definitely many to choose from. You’ve got Scotts Mills Park, the Silverton Reservoir, and many areas around Detroit Lake. When it comes to Salem and Keizer areas, you also have the Keizer Rapids Park. If you meander toward Molalla, then have the lovely Molalla River with many turn-offs to choose where you’d like to take a dip. If Fairs and Festivals are more your thing, then Here is Oregon has a great list of events from the Sisters Rodeo to the Waterfront Blues Festival and Fireworks. In addition to this, Travel Portland also provides a comprehensive list of great places to go including markets and The Green Loop. You may also want to “wine down” with some delicious wines of the Willamette Valley. If that’s the case, then the Summer Sunset Series may be something to check-out! You can also cool off with some ice cream at the Silverton Coffee Station.

It feels like the best of local businesses are emerging. There are many new restaurants and other venues to choose from. Not to mention the oldie but goodies that also provide such character and richness to our community. We love celebrating community in so many ways. It’s so easy to do with all the lovely local businesses out there. We hope you have had a brilliant spring and that your summer is truly radiant.
