Welcome to October! Although the months are beginning to get a bit cooler, that doesn’t stop the awesome activities from happening. You may be starting to think about getting pumpkins to carve. Perhaps your neighbors are already set with their Halloween decorations that are fun and spooky for all passersby. Then, there are also festivals in full swing celebrating culture and showcasing holiday items. At BST Realty LLC, we love all the ways in which you may be enjoying this October. This also includes the annual Silverton Goblin Walk! We definitely hope to see you there, too!

If you’re looking for a pumpkin patch, a petting zoo, and more…then the E.Z. Orchards Harvest Festival may be your jam. This runs throughout the month of October. It’s so fun to see the kiddos (and big kiddos) getting their faces painted, and there will also be live music! There are also cultural festivals happening. In Salem, there is the Samhain Celtic New Year Festival at the Willamette Heritage Center Spinning Room with jovial music from Biddy by the Bench on October 22. If you’re venturing north and love gnomes, then the NW Scandinavian Gnome Festival in Sherwood may be a great place to visit. That event is happening October 14 – 16. There are plenty of pumpkin patches and also haunted houses and hayrides to experience. We’ll be letting you know more about those activities in the future.
Until then, have fun planning your Halloween costumes and getting your pumpkin spice latte…or egg nog? We love having fun and participating in all the activities happening in our community. For the annual Silverton Goblin Walk and Trick or Treat Molalla on October 31, we will be handing out candy and there will be a photo contest! It makes us smile to see everyone dawning their favorite costume.
